Entry Directions and Requirements
Any Tyler client who has implemented a Tyler solution before December 31, 2009 is eligible to enter. No additional purchase this year is needed to be eligible. Entries may come from one person or from a group of people at a single organization. We urge you to apply online to reduce environmental waste and unnecessary paper excess; however, we will gladly accept entries through the mail. (Download application form.)
Applicants may enter in up to two of the three categories:
1. Organizational Efficiency—Tyler applications or processes improved overall workflow efficiency
2. Organizational Responsiveness—Tyler applications or processes improved your ability to provide information to employees, vendors or citizens
3. Organizational Productivity—Tyler applications or processes improved staff productivity
Application Evaluation Process
Who understands your industry better than your peers? That’s why members of Tyler’s management team and a committee of your peers will judge your application. Entries will be judged anonymously and will be scored on business value, maturity, innovation and relevance to other organizations using Tyler solutions. Including details of cost savings and time savings you experienced within your application will help support your submission. Up to three winners for each Tyler solution—Munis, Eagle, Eden, Incode and Odyssey—will be named.
Additional Rules for Participation
1. Must agree to adhere to the above-mentioned rules in Entry Directions and Requirements.
2. Must have senior management approval to participate in Tyler Technologies, Inc.’s Public Sector Excellence Awards contest.
3. Must agree to participate in the Awards presentation at the User Conference if chosen as a winner.
4. Expense Paid Trip to the Tyler Connect 2011 User Conference includes:
- Free admission to the User Conference. You will be reimbursed for admittance if you register for the Conference before winners are announced.
- Reasonable airfare to the User Conference capped at $350 round-trip. You must make your own travel arrangements and submit a receipt of airfare purchase to Tyler Technologies to be reimbursed.
- Hotel accommodations for three nights and four days (April 26, 27, 28, 29) at the Gaylord Opryland Resort™. You will be reimbursed after you reserve your room.
- All meals included with regular User Conference registration
5. Tyler Advisory Board members who choose to judge the Awards and enter into the Awards contest must agree to not vote for their submission or solicit votes for their organization’s entry.
6. Must agree to and understand that Tyler may use final entries for promotional materials.
