Position Objective
The Dynamics AX Technical Consultant will perform business requirements analysis and design perform gap analysis between AX functionality and client's requirements. Will identify and recommend product customizations, enhancements or work-arounds to meet client requirements . They will document functional requirements and software designs and train users on new process and AX. They will develop data conversion and testing strategies and manage individual budget and scope of work. They will perform Dynamics AX functionality demonstrations and set up security and administration.
Responsibilities
Hands-on client deployment experience with:- Configuring complex workflows for document approval
- Implementing and configuring Enterprise Portal
- Application integration using AIF; specifically inbound GL journals and AP invoices
- Extensive experience in providing ad hoc solutions to satisfy information and reporting requirements using Management Reporter, SSRS, Analysis Services, and Role Centers
AX Components- Security Group Configuration Expertise
- Employee and user setup
- Configuration and Master Data Loading Expertise
- Workflow and Role Centers
- Data migration experience
- End-User Training a plus
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Management or equivalent experience in similar position required.
Minimum 2 years AX Implementation experience, 4 years preferred including AX2009 at medium to large sized organizations (500-1000 employees).
Required knowledge of the following Dynamics AX Financial modules: General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Project Accounting.
Hands on client deployment experience.
